| Ever feel like the universe hates you? Well, Roger (Jon Heder) knows this feeling a little too well. He is tormented on the job as a New York meter maid, fired as a volunteer Big Brother because he’s just not cool enough, and always trying but never landing his dream girl Amanda(Jacinda Barrett) who happens to be his neighbor. Unreachable Amanda seems to be his breaking point forcing him to do something about his sad pathetic life. Soon, help is on the way when he is sent to Mr. P (Billy Bob Thornton) and his seminar in confidence building by another so called fellow loser. Through Mr. P’s seminar it seems that Roger starts break out of his shell with several interesting exercises he partakes in for class. Soon, Roger finds himself in a crash course version of Mr. P’s class when Mr. P suddenly takes a romantic interest in Amanda. Now, Roger will have to rely on himself, apply what he’s learn in class, and rally his buddies from class to make sure he lands the love of his life. |
